The “Old” Ponoko was innovative, yet had a touch of old school wonky-ness. The new version has a lot to offer, one thing of which is ease of ordering!
If you are still using the old method of ordering, here are the steps for a smooth transaction!
Under My Designs, Select Add New Design-Click UPLOAD YOUR DESIGN then-ADD ANOTHER DESIGN Once they are all uploaded, make sure you have the quantities you’d like of each file.
Click ADD MATERIALS and choose that blue you like. 😉 Make sure the right sizes are selected for each file. Should look a little something like this:
Click ADD THIS MATERIAL This will calculate the price of the material and cost of the lasering process. The totals are based on laser time and materials cost.
You might want to contact them first if you have a large project. They might give you a better price for the lot! They got in contact with me in 24 hours last I needed to talk to a person (email style that is).
After all these steps, proceed to “add to cart” and pick out your shipping, etc. 😄
Once you have a machine that can literally make almost anything – you must use it to it’s full potential! If you are planning on making your laser work for you, you will need some marketing materials like business cards!
